Antofagasta Named Chile's Most Attractive Employer

At Antofagasta, our people are central to our long-term success. Building a high-performing, inclusive and diverse workforce helps us operate safely and efficiently, drive innovation, and deliver sustainable value for shareholders. In a global industry where skilled talent is in high demand, our ability to attract, develop and retain talented people is a meaningful competitive advantage.

This strength was recognised in the 2026 Randstad Employer Brand Research, which named Antofagasta the most attractive company to work for in Chile. The independent study benchmarks the country's 150 largest employers based on the views of more than 3,500 participants across diverse demographics, including students, active workers and people actively seeking employment. Importantly, the evaluation is based entirely on public perception rather than internal HR metrics or panel assessments, providing an independent measure of employer reputation.

The Group achieved this top ranking through strong performance in several areas that matter both to employees and to the long-term success of the business, including career development opportunities, transparent communication, organisational stability, competitive rewards and fair working practices.

Also highlighted was the attractiveness of the mining sector in Chile, which was ranked as the country's most desirable industry for professional development. Within that highly competitive environment, Antofagasta ranked first overall, ahead of other major mining companies operating in the market.

Attracting and retaining skilled people remains essential to Antofagasta's long-term success and delivery of our purpose – developing mining for a better future. As we continue to expand opportunities for local talent and recruiting future generations, we are building the workforce needed to support the Group's future growth and ensure the business is well-positioned to maintain our position as a leading global copper producer.
